Villa Jules is a beautiful holiday villa with sea views and within walking distance from the beach and city centre of Moraira
It has everything you are looking for in a holiday home. The villa has a private pool, sea views, a good sun position, it is within walking distance of the beach and lovely center of Moraira, there is air conditioning and a great outside BBQ place.
Villa Jules is a detached villa with private pool. It is located in a nice residential area with a view of the center of Moraira and the sea. The center of Moraira is only a 10 minutes’ walk away and that is one of the big plusses of this house. There are several supermarkets closeby.
The layout of the house is as follows:
Through the driveway you enter the garden where there is enough space to park several cars. Here is the front door that provides access to the hall where there is a coat rack. In the hall there is a door to the living room, the entrance to the kitchen, a separate toilet and a staircase to go downstairs.
The living room is light and tastefully decorated. There is a large television with satellite connection (TV Vlaanderen) and a radio. A dining area with a large dining table for 6 people and access to the partly open kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped (dishwasher, oven, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, etc.). Through the dining area you enter the terrace with gorgeous sea views.
From all rooms one has sea views in this villa. The bedroom windows have shutters and mosquito nets and the bedrooms have air conditioning for those hot summer nights. From the dining area you walk onto the terrace where you can sit with 6 people. On the photo two tables have been put together, but a third table can be added, so you can sit there with 6 people enjoying the views sipping a sangría.
With the stairs in the hallway you reach the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There are two bedrooms with double beds (180 x 200 m) and 1 bedroom with a queen size bed. 1 or 2 smaller people could sleep here. There is also the possibility to place a separate baby cot.
There are two bathrooms: 1 bathroom has a bath / shower combination, a toilet and a sink. The other bathroom has a shower, toilet and a sink.
The private pool is wonderfully laid out in front of the house, also with sea views. From the bedrooms you can walk onto the terrace by the pool. The swimming pool is also accessible from the living room / dining area via the outside staircase from the terrace or through the garden. Because of the location of the house you have sun all day, even in winter. There are 6 sun beds at the pool and there is a seating area. There is a parasol and you can also sit in the shade of the pine tree in the garden. In the garden next to the house is a covered patio with a dining table and chairs and a large BBQ. There is also an outside fridge here. You will enjoy many sultry summer evenings here with your BBQ and a tasty sangria or glass of cava in your hand. Grocery shopping is not expensive here. That also applies to eating out. Moraira has over 150 restaurants!
Juliette the cat
A sweet little cat is living on the premises of Villa Jules. She was originally a stray cat, but we now take care of her and the garden of Villa Jules has become her home. People who find it annoying that there is a cat in the garden, better not rent Villa Jules. She is not allowed inside the house and she knows this.
We provide the food and kindly ask our guests to give Juliette her food every day. Don't worry if you forget, she will remind you :-)
Moraira
Moraira is a lovely village / town. According to some it is a fashionable seaside resort and others call it the Saint-Tropez of Spain. But we just think it is lovely and beautiful and we feel at home here. There are many restaurants, different bays and beaches and no high-rise buildings. In winter life goes on and it is not deserted like many coastal towns are in winter. In summer many people enjoy the sunshine, but it remains nice and 'village-like'. And perhaps the biggest advantage: it's almost always nice weather here.
There are various water sports facilities, hiking trails and perfect mountain bike trails. At about an hour's drive you can find the beautiful cities of Valencia and Alicante that are definitely worth a visit. And in the direction of Benidorm you can find water- and theme parks that the children will love. More in the immediate vicinity a visit to the Jalon valley is a must, the waterfalls of Algar, a visit to a wine farm, shopping in the beautiful shopping mall of Ondara or visit one of the many markets, etc. And so on.
But there is also really nothing wrong with simply lying by the pool or enjoying the beach and then having an ice cream at ‘Tutto Frutto’ in the city-center.
